The Central Superior Services (CSS; Urdu: سنترال سوپريور سروس‎), also known as the Bureau of the Central Superior Services, is a permanent bureaucratic authority, and the civil service of the Government of Pakistan. It is responsible for running the civilian bureaucratic operations and government secretariats and directorates of the Cabinet of Pakistan.

The CSS was established in 1973 under Article 240 of the Constitution of Pakistan. The CSS is headed by the Federal Secretary, who is a CSS officer. The members of the CSS are selected through the Central Superior Services Examination.

In Pakistan, the Central Superior Services (CSS) is a competitive examination held by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) for recruitment to various civilian posts in the Pakistan federal government.

The CSS is considered one of the toughest examinations in Pakistan with a success rate of less than 1%. The examination is open to both male and female candidates from all over Pakistan.

The CSS examination consists of written tests and interviews. The written tests include tests of English essay, English Precis, and Composition, General Knowledge Paper-I (Objective Type), General Knowledge Paper-II (Subjective Type), Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies, etc.
